In this world teeming with difficult challenges and seemingly indomitable foes, to lose faith in oneself is a common behavior. To avoid that mistake, I always kept my self-reliance and confidence in demanding situations. And while walking through the woods under a splendid autumn sky, I came across a sturdy pebble resting on my path. When I knelt down on the cold ground for a closer look, the palm-sized rock gave me a quick glance neither cold nor friendly. At that point, the small stone portrayed a reflection of my own personality. Confronting daily problems that could crush us into fragments, we both habitually resist and pose unyielding attitudes towards heavy outside influences. With this discovery from mother nature, I was able to define myself as a pebble - a persevering, independent individual who is unafraid to withstand challenges.
